Connecting to vCenter / Core VPN

In this guide, we will walk through the steps for connecting to our Core VPN and vCenter/vSphere.

1. Log in to our S3 portal at http://vpn-s3.syptec.com:9000/minio/login

2. Once you have logged in, you will need to download the VPN client. Click on "openvpn" in the sidebar on the left side of the page.  This will give you a list of profiles / installers.  You can download any profile needed from this page, depending on your device.  

If you are using Windows, we recommend to download the OpenVPN installer for Windows.

3. Download and run the installer.  Once the installation has completed, a post-installer will run in order to add our VPN profile to the OpenVPN client.

4. Start the OpenVPN client (on Windows this is an application called OpenVPN GUI).  This will create a taskbar icon.

5. Right-click the taskbar icon and click "Connect".  This will prompt you for your OpenVPN credentials.

NOTE: You will need separate VPN credentials for each device where the OpenVPN client is installed. 

If you need additional credentials, please request them.

6. Once you have logged into OpenVPN, you will be able to access vCenter via the URL:
