Due to significant growth in our environment, we are no longer manually monitoring or adjusting the 95%/95% CPU and RAM utilization thresholds. As a result, these features have been disabled.

Please note the following changes:

• Virtual machines with more than 32 GB of RAM will require a power-off to modify memory.

• Any CPU additions will also require a power-off.

• Hot-add capabilities were previously part of the 95/95 rule set; however, given the high I/O demands of our environment, manual monitoring of these features is no longer practical.

All notifications and alarms related to these features have been disabled. Please ensure you monitor your VMs accordingly.
