SDC Cloud (All sites, All regions, All Kernels) - 01/02/2026
We welcome the New Year 2026 with enthusiasm, following a year of explosive growth in 2025. During this time, our cloud platform has evolved into a robust, enterprise-scale environment with powerful new capabilities.
Key enhancements include the introduction of an AI-powered management layer, Tangent NVMe storage now deployed across most sites (with full deployment planned), and the rollout of larger four-socket hypervisors to replace legacy two-socket systems.
As part of these advancements, we will no longer be separately tracking DRS, HA, and FT modifications. These capabilities are now fully integrated and visible within the Cloud Portal. For VMware environments, this information is available in the logging section of the legacy Cloud Portal. Within our highly customized flagship KVM platform (Proxmox), it is accessible directly at the bottom of the pool view.
These improvements provide accelerated visibility into production workloads, enabling real-time insight into regional placement, geofencing, and high-availability changes. They also deliver clearer definitions and change tracking, allowing you to understand what was added, moved, or modified—and why.
For deeper analysis, additional detail, or specific data requests, a support ticket will be required.
We look forward to training, educating, and assisting our customers with world-class support. Opening a ticket is the first step in that process: https://help.syptec.com/hesk
We welcome these changes, embrace the integration of AI, and look forward to continued growth and innovation in 2026.
